It was the perfect storm.
A less than ideal original installation
inferior specification of equipment
and in certain places, a very odd design.
Rock Maintenance was commissioned for this Schüco Sliding Door Replacement. Firstly, to remove and replace the problematic screens and then the existing sliding doors with new Schüco equipment.
Schuco Aluminium Sliding doors
Rock Maintenance specified Schuco ASE80 coupled to Schuco AWS75 fixed screens as a bespoke solution. Architectural designs and structural alterations to the building's fabric made for a few challenges, but experience and perseverance enabled the Rock Maintenance installation team to fulfil the replacement.
High Rise Large Window replacement
There was no easy or budget friendly option to utilise cranes to reach this 11th floor apartment. Everything had to be brought up to the site by hand. But with a generous outside space, there was plenty of room to complete fabrication on site.
