Rock Maintenance repair Schuco ASS70 Hi-lift

Schuco produces some of the best door and window systems. However, without care and maintenance, even high quality building assets will fail.

A bespoke Schuco ASS70 Hi lift & slide door had collapsed guide wheel assemblies due to lack of maintenance. Rock Maintenance door and window experts attended to survey and scope a plan to return the doors to perfect working order.

Rock Maintenance are Schuco Partners and as such, can supply and fit genuine replacement parts and have full Schuco training. With the required parts identified and ordered, Rock Maintenance were able to fully repair the neglected doors.

Both door leaves were removed. This allowed the team to recondition the door leaves and access the frame to inspect, service, secure and refurbish.

Schuco ASS70 Sliding door Repairs

As discovered on the survey, the guide wheels were beyond repair. With the door off, these were quickly replaced and installed on the repaired door. Additional wheels were added to the original bespoke design, to further support the weight of the glass - 200KGs+.

Re-building the doors included supplying and fitting new locks and handles - upgrading the security of the doors and final levelling of the doors resulted in a set of doors that now far exceeded the standard of the original installation. As you can see in the video, our engineer Charlie can be seen operating the sliding doors with ease. 

A final service of the doors, including adjustment and drainage checks, cleaning and lock keep fine tuning were performed before a final handover and orientation to a very happy client.
