Rock Maintenance is growing our team - we are an Essex based aluminium door and window, facade and curtain walling service and maintenance company, working mostly in London and surrounding counties. 

We are looking for a FULL TIME, experienced door and window engineer to join our team.

About You:You’re an experienced and adaptable technician with the ability to thrive in a varied work environment. You will be inspecting doors and windows by many different manufacturers, including: Schuco, Reynaers, AluProf, Wincona and other major brands.  Servicing, fault finding and commissioning of Schüco TipTronic windows and associated automated systems.You must be able to work independently as well as part of a larger team. 

Our customers rely on you to find faults, make minor remedial and corrective works where achievable. Providing detailed photographic reports identifying defects, what works were completed and any further recommendations.

An understanding of compliance and safety legislation would be a bonus. 

Rock Maintenance works in private residences, commercial offices and public buildings. You will be required to consent to a background check to enable your attendance to work in relevant premises.

About Rock

As a qualified engineer expect a salary of between £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on qualifications and experience).

Rock offers a great working environment and a varied working week. Our engineers are capable of working on a wide variety of aluminium doors and windows, as well as fitting of bespoke glazing, inspecting facades and curtain walling. 

You will have opportunities to work alongside other professional trades such as rope access teams and crane operators.Skills and abilities are important at Rock, training is ongoing to maintain engineering skills.
